letter for friend about American

Dear Friends:

        Hello! I have heard that you are going to make the most important decision of your life. As your friend, I want to give you some advice. I think you should come to America. Mae West said:” You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.” Yeah, I think coming to American is the best way to make your life better. Seriously, I have lived in American for about 2 years, and I feel everything is okay right here.

       First, you will get a better education in America. I know what Chinese schools look like, you have to study from 6 am to 10 pm, and you have to study day and night. If you don’t do well on you final test when you are in 12th grade, your life is over! In America, you just spend a few hours a day to go to school, and you can find a job or play basketball with your friends. You are so free in an American high school. Plus, if you do not do well on your final text, it is okay, you still can go to college.

     Second, you can find a better job in America. In China, a lot of Chinese people spend their whole lives earning money, but they still cannot buy a house for their children. In America, if you work hard, you can buy a house and live better. If you are in America and miss your parents in China, you can still visit them once a year or sent them money. Just imagine, one dollar is 6 Yuan, if you want to go back to China and visit your friends, you can just work for a few month.

       Third, if you come to America, you will have a colorful life.  I think I became more optimistic after I came to America. There are many after school programs and activities right here. Last summer, I took part in a summer program called “The Boat people SOS” program, and it’s a environmental program. I learned many things and met many new friends in the program. The most important thing is ---we got paid. This is the first time that I felt so free and so happy when I was working. I felt my life becoming more and more colorful after I came to America, so I hope you could have a more colorful life and live happier, too.

     Well, above are my suggestions, I really want you to come to America, if you want to come, then come. But if you don’t, just forget about it. It’s up to you. I want to tell you, you have to think about this, because the decision that you make will influence the rest of your life.

Gay marriage

Same-sex Marriage

            Same-sex marriage, people also call it “Gay marriage”, people have different opinions about the Gay marriage. Some people think that Gay marriage is crazy; some people think it’s acceptable. In my opinion, it’s unacceptable for me.

           First of all, when I heard this two word “Gay marriage” this two word, I suddenly got goose bump. Oh my God! How would you imagine two men or two women staying together all the time like boyfriends and girlfriends? That’s disgusting.

          Maybe my thoughts are wrong, but in China, people cannot accept this crazy thing and our parents keep telling us that marriage is between a man and a woman, not between man and man or woman and woman. If you are gay, your family will be shamed on you. Maybe the education that I have made me think Gay Marriage is wrong.

        Also, some people agree with Gay marriage. Everybody has their freedom to find their lovers; no one can force them to stop it. So many people want the Gay marriage to become legal, and they are making it. So even though not all of America allows Gay marriage legally, some states allow people to marry other same-sex.

      After I come to America, I became an open person as others are. I don’t care if you are gay or not, we are both human. If you and a man want to marry a man, go ahead, you have your rights to live with your lover.

                                                      Violence

         Violence, what a terrible word. A long time ago, if you had enough

power or money, you could beat anybody without a reason, and you could kill whoever 

you wanted to in China. This is violence. However, if you beat someone or kill someone, you

will go to jail now. So,Is violence ever justified? I think the answer is "YES".

       First, if someone beat me up, I might fight back, Because I am defending my self,

I think most people would fight back if someone beat you up without a reason, and I

don’t think this will be against the law.

      Second, if they try to beat your family member, if they do this, I will fight back

immediately. No matter what, if this against the law, send me to jail, then. Family

first!

     Anyway, violence is not right, but in some situations it’s very correct to be violent.

Will you just sit there until the policeman comes then save your children’s lives from the

bad man? Forgive me, I will not  do this.

The black shadow

         Many people have their own scared experience, so do I. I am going to tell your

guys a scared story about myself. It made me carzy when I think about that when I

was a child.

        It’s a very dark night, the wind blew the street, no one was walking in the street. I 

was 9 years old, my brother always showed me the scary moives. Because of that, I 

always thought the ghost were around me. My parents were in my grandmother's house,

 and I was alone in a big house. I saw a black shadow in front of the window. "Oh my

 God! The ghost were coming after me! " i thought. I was so scare to check it our, so I 

didn't leave my bed until my parents went home. Finally, we figured it out, it just a 

mouse!

       I can't sleep all night when I thought about that. Think about that, does the mouse 

scare u?

Me!!!

       My name is juntian He,  I cam from China, and I am 11 grade. I am studying at Furness High School, I

live in Philadelphia, PA. I like to play basketball after school, and i like to play computer games, too.

       I live with my parents and my brother, we always hang out together, have lunch , shopping and do

something that we want to do. I want to learn street dance for a long time, but i can't find someone to teach

me, i love street dance, it's cool, and it looks good.
 
        I always hang out with my friends, and we travel around city. I would like to hang out with them,

because I can visit more place and see more new thing, I think people should play more and travel around

the world when they are young, because if you work when you become older, u can not play anymore.
